Dr Hewa is the best doctor you will ever visit. he knows his stuff and knows exactly what his talking about. he is very precise. he has been our family doctor for over 15 years and he is always the best with the family. i have been living in dubai for some time where medicine is meant to be so advanced. 3 weeks i had a bad infection and none of the doctors here could cure me or even find what kind of infection it was in my tests. they kept telling me my tests a clear. so i took off work and flew back to Melbourne to visit Dr hewa. when i sat down in his surgery i said 3 sentances to him and he knew my problem instantly. gave me the right medication and i woke up the next day and i was fully cured with no more infection. this is what you call a real doctor. i highly recommend this man. also the receptionist is the sweetest lady. Thank You.
Wanted to charge me $180 just to see him without a medicare card, without even asking me what my ailment was. Had to wait 10 mins (outside in the cold, she locked the surgery) while the receptionist went to his house to ask him if he would see anyone. This all took place within their normal opening hours! Absolutely not good enough.
