I am booked to have my gallbladder removal at this hospital in 2 & a half weeks. Decided to acqaint myself with the hospital whilst travelling through from Adelaide to Hindmarsh Island. The main reception lady was so helpful as was the admin lady at the day surgery centre. Unfortunately my visit was blackened by the stern reception of whom I suspect was the admissions lady in the room on the left of the waiting area. I waited at least 20 minutes and was the only person waiting there so not sure why she ignored me each time she walked by. I felt I had to get brave to talk to her in the first place. I am generally known to be a shy but nice person. Otherwise I would have given Mt Barker District Soldier's Hospital 5 stars.
Had my baby there 2 weeks ago. Amazing staff! Totally rushed off their feet but were kind, caring and professional at all times. Thank you so much for looking after us so well, you should be proud

Excellent service, just in possible to get into emergency room after hours.
Has after hours GP clinic but not 24/7 emergency services. Easy parking.
