Great overall experience like nothing I have done before, awesome to take a seat and talk coffee and Melbourne one on one with a barista. Esther was great company, friendly and helpful. Awesome selection of interesting coffees and still enjoying my bag of retail coffee i brought home. Will definitely return on my next trip to Melbourne.
Great counter served coffee with a friendly touch. For those looking to try various single origin beans, filter coffee (v60), cold drip, or espresso. A coffee purists place. They also sell equipment and beans. Highly recommended
They showcase a new coffee every fortnight. Aunty Peg's functions as sort of a Cellar Door to Proud Mary. Take the "flight" and taste the rainbow. We enjoyed the experience and the coffee so much, we went back the next day. We asked for a tour of their roastery and they were very kind to give us one. There isn't any food but go for the experience of coffee tasting.
Just finished coffee college and honestly best morning ever. These guys have dedicated a unique space in which they wholeheartedly share their knowledge and experience to all who are interested, creating a special learning environment packed full of fun. Jenn is a barrel of laughs and takes you on a crazy exciting journey though coffee land. I highly recommend you get behind any of their courses. Cant wait to head back.
This is the place to go if you appreciate coffee. The coffee is precisely weighed out and prepared with water heated to exactly 100 degrees. But not just any water, purified water with a defined amount of calcium and magnesium added. The girl who prepared our coffee was very knowledgeable about coffee and had a Masters degree in science, although I don't think this was a prerequisite for the job. Don't ask for milk or sugar. Coffee is served black without sweetener.
